FAQ

What will a psychotherapy session involve?
As an integrative psychodynamic psychotherapist, my work is person-centred, using elements of gestalt, psychosynthesis, and CBT where appropriate. This approach allows me to tailor our sessions to your unique needs and goals to determine what will work best for you. Psychotherapy is a safe and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. If you would like to learn more or are interested in working together, we can schedule a consultation session. This will allow me to learn more about you and ensure that I am the right fit for your needs.
How long will a session be?
Each session will typically last 60 minutes.
How much will it cost and how do I pay?
I accept payment through cash or bank transfer. Sessions can be paid for on the day of our session or by the end of that week.
Each session will cost €45. Sliding scale rate also available for students and/or anyone experiencing financial stress.
How does booking a session work?
I like to start with a consultation session to get to know more about you and ensure that I’m the right fit for what you need and want from therapy. Please contact me by phone or email if you would like to book a session, and I will set this up at a time that works best for you.
How long will we work together?
The length of a person’s psychotherapy journey will vary depending on the individual. I will work with you for as long as you need. Psychotherapy can end for many reasons, but my goal will always be for it to end at the right time for you. When the time is right, we will work together to bring our work to an end.
Where do sessions take place?
I work with clients in person at NEST, Hale St., Ardee.(A92C7RW). I understand that in-person sessions do not always suit everyone, so I am also available to work online if this is more convenient for you. We can work together in person, online, or a mix of both, depending on what best suits your needs.
What age groups do you work with?
I work with clients aged 18+. If you would like more information, please contact me by phone or email. If I can’t answer the phone, leave a message with your contact details, and I will get back to you.
